4月5日是我国传统的清明节，大约始于周代，已有二千五百多年的历史，清明最开始是一个很重要的节气，清明一到，气温升高，正是春耕春种的大好时节，故有“清明前后，种瓜种豆”，“植树造林，莫过清明”的.农谚。可清明节还有一个习俗，清明之日不动烟火，只吃凉的食品。
如果按照旧的清明习俗，在扫墓时，人们要携带酒食果品、纸钱等物品到墓地，将食物供祭在亲人坟前，再将纸钱焚化，为坟墓培上新土，折几枝嫩的新枝插在枝上，然后叩头行礼祭拜，最后吃掉酒食回家。
而今年的清明节,我和同学们来到了位于安阳市陵园路三号的安阳市烈士陵园。这里是为纪念解放安阳牺牲的烈士所建。内葬有193位烈士遗骨和骨灰，其中170多位烈士均为解放安阳时牺牲。
我们在烈士陵园内，向人民英雄纪念碑敬献了花篮，向革命烈士朗诵了献辞。在先烈陵墓上插上了亲手制作的小白花，聆听了烈士的英雄事迹介绍。
缅怀先辈,令人悲叹,更令人振奋，我看着一株株昂首挺立的松柏，象征着烈士们永垂不朽的革命精神。今天的幸福美好生活都是由革命先烈为我们创造出来的，也是血红的鲜血换来的。于是，我的心暗暗鼓劲儿：要继承先烈遗志，发奋学习，努力成为建设国家的栋梁。
