Today, let's share what we have learned from reading picture books in kindergarten, and see the richness of emotions and wisdom behind these simple words.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 1
I have observed that some parents have a strong "word complex" when they teach English picture books to their children, and they are especially concerned about how many words their children can memorize. This kind of word complex is also very common in junior and senior high school English reading teaching activities. I know of some "one-on-one" tutors who teach junior high school students English short essays. The tutors do not teach from the height of "textual interpretation strategies" and "logical articulation of discourse," but only "crosstalk" English reading. The tutor does not teach from the height of "text interpretation strategy" and "logical connection of discourse", but only "strings together" the general idea of the short text, delineate some phrases, talk about "grammar points", and then make a list of words for the child to memorize. After each remedial class, parents see that their children have copied and memorized all the words in the short text, and mistakenly think that their children's English reading has "improved". This is not the case.
Just to be clear, I'm not saying that words aren't important, and I myself place a great deal of emphasis on vocabulary instruction in my teaching practice. However, if a tutor focuses reading instruction on "vocabulary awareness," then that reading instruction is poor and the results are unlikely to be far-reaching.
I will come back to the parent-child English picture book reading, more important than letting children memorize words, is to lead children to understand the picture book contains the details of the description, interesting storyline, to experience the "start, take off, turn, and merge" of the rhythmic design of the line, to experience the writer's words and phrases of the "heart"! "Especially the "rhythm" of the words - the music flowing between the words and sentences.
All education begins with the understanding of nature. Reading is a need of the child's ego, "one of the forms of existence" of the ego. Reading has an ontological value: reading itself is an expression of the value of life. Parents should respect the subjectivity of children's reading, parents should abandon some reading preconceptions, broaden the narrowing of insights that may be due to utilitarianism, do not have to take the mission of "must learn 10 words" to read to children.
Parent-child English picture book teaching, do not be too concerned about how many "language knowledge points" the child learns. The art of teaching English picture books is to show children's interest, awaken their dormant spirit and imagination, add a thickness of exotic culture, and a more innocent and unrestrained.

Want to know what's going on?
It turned out that at about 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday night, a group of frogs flew up on lotus leaves, they flew over the pond, flew over the fields, flew into the town, making the calm town become crazy, at 11:21 p.m. in the middle of the night, the flying frogs in the sky made a huge racket, which made the people who were having their nightly meal too scared to look back; the frogs casually took down the sheet on the drying rack and used it as a cloak, and flew into one of the houses to visit it. A frog took the remote control from a grandmother sleeping on the sofa and used its long tongue to select a channel, frightening the kitten to hide in the corner of the doorway, staring at the horrible scene; at 4:38 a.m., a ferocious big dog saw so many frogs flying over and fled in fear. After dawn, everything was back to normal, the frogs returned to the pond, the town scattered around the lotus leaves so that the police could not feel the clues, meditating up ......
Another Tuesday at 7:58pm ...... Another herd of pigs flying in the sky ......
Isn't it scary, magical and unbelievable? This is the wordless picture book "Crazy Tuesday" written by David Wiesner in the United States. The author of the book has no text description, the whole book appears a total of four blank pages, only indicate the time, respectively: Tuesday night at 8:00 pm, 11:21 pm, 4:38 in the morning, the next Tuesday at 7:58 pm. The author fully utilizes the use of highly skilled drawing techniques, skillful and smooth . Pictures to narrate the story, the author's creativity is amazing, came up with the use of a somewhat scary-looking frog as the protagonist, the frog's movements and psychological depiction of the living, vivid, sitting on the lotus leaves majestic, imposing and scary, and restored to its original state, gray jumped out of the water, a confused look. This book brings us not only visual enjoyment, but also a leap of imagination. No wonder Ming Ming screamed straight after reading it, saying, "There is a Harry Potter feeling in this book, David is really an imaginer."
What the hell happened next Tuesday?
Listen to Ming's continued story!
At 7:58 p.m. the following Tuesday, the pigs, who were sleeping in their pens, were inexplicably awakened, only to wake up and realize that they were on their brooms, flying through the air!
Frightened and delighted, the pigs flew across the fields, the mice stared in amazement at the sight, and flew through the woods, the owls saw them and opened their mouths wide in surprise.
At 11:21 p.m., the smug pigs flew into the city, scaring passersby into fleeing.
At 4:38 a.m., the pigs flew into a hotel, where they happily ate and drank and made a mess inside ......
When the sun came up, the pig lost its magic power and fell into the pigpen with a loud bang. Looking around, the pig was confused: "Did we just dream?"
In the city, there are brooms all over the place, and the hotel is crowded with policemen who can't get a clue and meditate on ......
I think every one of us has a child's heart in our mind, and we all like to imagine, I have started to like the wordless book, it can activate our imagination, and it is easier to attract us, because without words, everyone will have different understanding and imagination.
Tell us what you have in mind for next Tuesday!

Walking on the Road is a novel by Mei Zihan. It is mainly about Chen Xiaoyuan, on his way to the movie with his 70-year-old grandmother, remembered the past and made friends with her out of the blue. This tells us that when we get along with the old people, we don't necessarily do things for the sake of the old people, and we must have unexpected gains during this time.
People tend to love children and forget about the elderly. But the elderly also have non-material wealth in them. Why don't we go and make friends with them? If each of us takes the initiative to socialize with the old people, then the old people will not be lonely; if each of us is willing to teach the old people patiently, the old people will also tell us many things; if each of us gives the old people more patience and tolerance, then the old people will also have a lot of growth.
I don't think my 'grandparents are actually that stupid, if I make one thing clear with them, they will get it. One time my family invited my grandparents for dinner, and we described the location to everyone, saying that if we couldn't find it, we'd call. The next afternoon, sure enough, we got the first call - from my eldest. He said he couldn't find the location, so we dropped them off. Just after dropping them off, we got out again - because that's when we got a call from my grandparents, and I thought to myself that they must not be able to find their way. I answered the phone and the caller said they had arrived. I was shocked, sometimes old people understand well.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 4
Reading Picture Books with Granny Book is a book that combines the theory and practice of reading picture books to young children in three chapters. The first chapter goes into the depths of innocent children's hearts, which is the author's philosophy of shared reading. The second chapter establishes equal dialog reading, which is the co-reading strategy belonging to the author. The third chapter moistens the rich spiritual world, is the author's common reading pursuit. What I admire most after reading this book is Ms. Wang Chunhua's use of the "children's view" to read with children, which refers to the views or opinions of society about and towards children.
It deals with issues such as the identity, rights and status of the child, the meaning of childhood and the relationship between education and child development. The correct view of the child is that the most important thing is to respect and develop the child's independence and autonomy, and to recognize his or her developmental possibilities, so that he or she can become an independent personality and a dynamic subject who can recognize and change nature and society, and at the same time develop self-knowledge and self-education. In the book "Respect for children, body to heart", she said that respect for children and trust in children's reading ability should not be just a concept or a sentence, but should be implemented in the arrangement of the reading sessions and the guidance strategy of the co-readers. In the picture book reading program, she said that the "adult-dominated" situation is also the teaching model that we often use. This model allows children's freedom, autonomy, and creativity to be stifled by the highly structured, rule-based atmosphere created by adults.
She took the picture book teaching of "The Big Scary Monster" as an example, she narrated the story first, then recorded the children's speeches in detail, and then sorted out the children's words a little bit, and found that the children paid special attention to the phenomenon of "Nearly Big, Far, and Small" presented in the story, and what resonated with them most was the harmony and happiness of everyone at the end of the story. The most resonating emotion is the peace and happiness of everyone living in harmony at the end of the story. In fact, before she read the story with the children, she thought that the children were not interested in "near, big, far and small" because they did not have many similar experiences in their lives, so she preset another topic. Through the children's discussion on the spot, Ms. Wang Chunhua flexibly switched to the topic that the children were interested in, and her point of view was that the focus of the children's attention should be the entry point for the discussion, because it was an issue that the children had feelings about and agreed upon. This reminds me that when we teach picture books, we often lead children by the nose and let them answer and think according to the questions we preset. In the future, when carrying out picture book reading activities, I also need to "respect the children, body to the heart must also be there", so that the picture book reading activities are valuable.
The most worthwhile thing for me to learn . It was Ms. Wang Chunhua's carefulness. In her text, she mentioned the physical environment of the shared reading arrangement, which mainly included tables, chairs, picture books, bookshelves, and bookmarks. She explains in detail how to use these physical environments and the roles they play, for example: the role of bookmarks, when she spends time together she takes a bookmark box with her and puts many bookmarks in it. One type of bookmark is painted with a question mark and is used to mark what you can't read during shared reading; another is painted with a smiley face and is used to clip to a favorite page. The use of bookmarks in shared reading serves as an identifier so that children can find their favorite pages; secondly, it allows children to develop the habit of caring for books. This also inspired me to let the older children design their own bookmarks before reading, marking their favorite, confusing, and unintelligible places, and then use them during reading, which not only increases the children's love of reading, but also improves the children's motivation to use their hands and brains.
After reading Ms. Wang Chunhua's "Reading Picture Books with Granny Book", I have benefited a lot, which has a lot of reading teaching styles and methods that are worth learning, and it has updated my understanding of picture book reading, and I want to put it into practice in the next picture book reading activities.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 5
Most of the children's picture books are purchased online, and most of them are selected appropriately based on the reviews or recommendations of their XX moms. This is very useful, at least the content of the book is healthy and positive, so I don't have to bother to keep track of it anymore. In addition, I think it is also necessary to choose picture books according to the child's age, gender, preferences, personality traits, especially since I borrowed them for my children, I choose picture books more from the standpoint of the child to consider.
Although there is no clear age demarcation for picture books, so as long as your child is interested, picture books with complicated backgrounds and many characters are not suitable for younger babies. For example, I will still choose some picture books with clear and delicate pictures, prominent and interesting images, and simple plots for Ken-chan. For complex picture books that are not suitable for the child's age, even if they are good and excellent, I will consider them later.
Parenting in some way is also different between men and women, in the choice of picture books is no exception, girls are fascinated by the warmth of some of the love-inspired picture books are more likely to attract their attention, while the boys like to be very engaged, such as Qian Zai is very fond of David, pay attention to the police, burglars and other roles, and in general like to stimulate the adventurous.
Choosing picture books according to your child's favorites is more likely to stimulate his interest in reading and allow him to absorb the nutrients he needs to grow. If your child likes cats, dogs and other small animals, or if your child is a car enthusiast, then choose books for your child in this area. As the saying goes, if you can please your child, reading will be a pleasure. Don't forget, of course, that children's preferences go in phases, and we adjust them as we go along.
Finally it's also vital to filter books according to your child's personality traits haha. For example, Ken-chan is very impatient and will quickly turn the pages of a book without waiting for you to finish talking about it. Sometimes, when I can't control my emotions, I yell at him, "Wait until mommy finishes talking, okay? If you are like this, I can't talk anymore and I don't want to talk anymore." This reduces his interest in reading. Of course, we can condense the story, but choosing picture books with fewer words is also a good idea, and we won't be disturbed when our child interrupts us because we haven't gotten to the point. Also, Ken doesn't have the patience to read a picture book with many pages for the time being. Several times, he gave up after reading half of a picture book with 40 to 50 pages, so I mostly choose picture books with about 30 pages for him to read.
The above is just some personal experience, of course, is not limited to the above, there are many directions to choose books, but also from the type of book to consider, such as close to the child's life, encyclopedic, to improve skills or focus on the intellectual development of the class and so on.

The author of the book has no text description, the whole book appears a total of four blank pages, only indicate the time, respectively: Tuesday night at 8:00 pm, 11:21 pm, 4:38 in the morning, the next Tuesday at 7:58 pm. The author fully utilizes the use of superb painting techniques, skillful and smooth drawings to narrate the story, the author's creativity is amazing, came up with a somewhat scary-looking frog as the protagonist, the frog's movements and psychological description of the vivid, lifelike, sitting on the lotus leaves, majestic, imposing and scary, and restored to its original state, gray jumped down to the water, a face of 'confused. This book brings us not only visual enjoyment, but also a leap of imagination. No wonder Ming Ming shouted after reading the book, saying: "This book has a Harry Potter feel to it, David is really an imaginative person. Potter's feeling, David is really an imaginer."
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 7
Picture books often appear in early childhood education, which can well exercise children's observation skills and cultivate good reading habits. After a period of study, I have gained a certain understanding of picture books and realized that there is a lot of preparatory work to be done in order to conduct a good picture book activity lesson. It is not only as simple as guiding the children to look at the pictures, but also requires the teacher to deeply explore the meaning behind the pictures on the basis of understanding them.
Picture books are presented to children as a picture book, so they can be very popular among children. Picture book is a colorful and rich in content, first of all, it brings children a visual impact, a variety of colors, interesting content, so that children after a glance will have interest in exploration. In addition to being a simple and easy-to-understand children's book, a picture book contains a profound truth behind it. Picture books are presented in a graphic way, not only can children look at the pictures and guess the story content, but also recognize the words with the help of the storyline.
Picture books introduce children to vocabulary in stories. For young children who are just at the stage of socialization and immature language development, there is no vocabulary, and young children cannot understand abstract words like "happy" and "sad". In the reading of picture books, there will often appear in the picture of the characters happy, sad, angry and other abstract words on the action of the performance, or laugh, or cry, which is the children in the process of reading picture books can feel, the abstract into reality, so as to understand the vocabulary, vocabulary enrichment.
Picture books add to a child's emotional experience in a story. Young children live in this wonderful world and experience and gain awareness of something past and new all the time. But young children's exposure to the world is limited. Picture books, in their very appropriate way, can make up for the lack of these direct experiences of young children, and through experiencing the storyline in the picture book and the mental process of the protagonist in the story, they can gain new experiences and evoke new feelings.
Picture books can enrich a child's imagination in a story. The world of young children is a world of fantasy. Young children live in the real world of experience on the one hand, and in the world of fantasy on the other. Through fantasies, children experience the real world; through real life, children verify fantasies. When reading a picture book, through the image representation in the picture book, children will follow the plot development of the story and cannot help but enter the `emotional world' of the main character with their imagination. The child then compares this world with his or her own experience of reality and gets something out of it. This influence is natural and conscious at the same time.
As a teacher who guides young children, in the development of picture book activities, we must carefully study the textbook to understand the various aspects of the story, choose a point of entry that is close to the lives of young children, and guide young children to experience the deeper meanings of the story, and truly read the story. Teachers should also pay attention to the need for effective questioning in guiding, as the effectiveness of a question directly affects the children's understanding of the development of the story. Questions should also be appropriate to set doubts, it can make the child's attention quickly point to the teacher's desired goal, and stimulate interest in learning new knowledge, cultivate the spirit of active exploration. Therefore, reasonable questioning is a very crucial part of effective picture book reading activities. As the masters of reading, children should be allowed to be in the front and the teacher in the back, in the interaction and leading, so that children can gradually feel the picture book. We can't bind the children with fixed lesson plans. We should let them learn to read independently and let them express their own ideas and feelings. Finally, we should create a relaxing and pleasant reading environment for children, so that they can fall in love with reading and cultivate their interest in reading from childhood.
As a new teacher, my knowledge of picture books remains on the surface or is still theory over practice. For me, the best way to learn is to put theory into practice by carrying out picture book activities and learning how to teach picture books one at a time.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 8
Since joining the work there is little time to learn, this distance learning training is a rare opportunity, I also learned a lot from it, not only broaden my teaching horizons, but also enriched my teaching methods, and at the same time recognize their own previous deficiencies and shortcomings in teaching, a lot of harvest. The biggest gain of this training for me is to understand some effective teaching methods of reading picture books for elementary school students, such as the picture tour method and the puzzle reading method, which will be a great inspiration for my future classroom teaching, among which I am most impressed by the picture tour method.
I. Learned the definition of English picture books
1. The term "Picture Book" comes from Japan, and the English name is "Picture Book", which refers to a book where words and pictures complement each other, and where the interaction of the two mediums is used to tell a story and express a particular emotion or theme. Picture books are not only about storytelling and learning, but also about helping children to build their spirit and develop multiple intelligences. It intervenes to provide students with a great deal of language knowledge, and can provide children with 'real-life situations and rich vocabulary for learning English, which can assist in the development of children's language skills. And many of these quality picture books come from English-speaking countries, allowing children to feel the original flavor of the English language through reading English picture books.
2. English Picture Book Reading" means that the teacher, according to the actual English reading level of the students, utilizes the English picture book books and online materials that can be found, selects and grades them, and combines them with the teaching design of each lesson, through the organic integration of the content of the textbook and the picture book materials, so that the students can read those original English picture book materials, in order to improve the students' interest in English reading and their reading ability. and reading ability
Second, we learned the characteristics of English picture books for elementary school students
1, with storytelling and plotting, a concise synopsis of the story, the simultaneous existence of cross-narrative and omitted jumps, often with the most concise text to narrate a complete story.
2, intuitive image, vivid and interesting, beyond the reality, usually with plants and animals as the story characters to start the narrative, in the subject matter and content close to the students' life experience, cognitive characteristics and psychological needs, both knowledge, interesting and educational.
3. Simple repetition of language, overall input of languages, natural acquisition and development of language sense
4. Pay attention to students' emotional experience and multicultural perception and identification.
In view of the characteristics of English picture books for elementary school students, the use of the picture tour method can inspire students to take the initiative to observe, predict and think, focusing on understanding and appreciating the materials they have learned. Elementary school students are more sensitive to pictures, and pictures with bright colors and novel contents can attract children's interest and increase their motivation to learn. Through the picture tour method, it helps students talk to the text and form their own understanding, so that the story content can penetrate into students' hearts and strengthen their understanding of the characteristics of the characters in the picture books and the truths contained therein.
For the lower grades where I teach, we can follow the overall storytelling method taught by the teacher, and use the form of reading and acting together by teachers and students to let students better understand picture books and recognize picture books. Lower grades students have little accumulation, it is difficult to read the text, and they are highly sensitive to reading pictures, so the picture tour method can improve the effectiveness of the classroom, let students better grasp the classroom content, and help them in their future learning.
Someone once said that without reading, a child's life experience must be lacking, and the inspiration brought by reading can solve the problem of the child's vision and character. Picture book teaching in elementary school English is a new thing, and it still needs us to keep practicing and researching. As elementary school English teachers, we should give full play to the role of picture book reading teaching to cultivate students' good reading habits and lay the foundation for their lifelong development.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 9
This time, through the picture book reading activity organized by the kindergarten, I had the opportunity to share the joy of communicating the meaning of father and son with my child. Because of my work, I get off work late, and every time I come home to face the picture book with my child, it is already after my child's mother has told the story to my child. In other words, the child already had a clear understanding of the outline of the story, and I was advancing from page to page based on the visual impression of the picture book without fully understanding the flow of the story. This naturally created some discrepancies with the orthodox details of the story as told by the child's mother. The child, who had been somewhat resistant because he could not play or watch TV according to his own will, when he saw that what his father told him differed from the details of the story as he understood it, his attention immediately returned to the story that was no longer new to him? The child's attention immediately returns to the picture book, which is no longer new to him, and he begins to try to correct his father's . The child's attention returns to the picture book, which is no longer new to him, and he begins to try to correct his father's outline or details. Thus the "argument" begins. Mutual "persuasion" begins. Most of the time, of course, the persuasion ends with the conclusion that the child's logic is correct, and with praise for the child's intelligence.
The child is also interested in reading picture books together with his father, and the parents also want the child to have more imagination and expand his understanding of things. Whether this method is helpful for the child's education, although I have no idea in my heart, but for children who do not have a basic knowledge of words, when they understand the story through visual reading of pictures, the above interference allows the child to realize that there can also be another logical explanation of the same thing or thing inspired. Although this is a unilateral hope for adults????
It is also hoped that through the insights of each parent's feelings, they will learn from each other's strengths and weaknesses, and share with each other their stories of communication with their children.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 10
It is the invitation of love from mothers and fathers that brings children to us, so as mothers and fathers, it is a happy and blessed thing for mothers and fathers to play and read with their children. Thanks to the kindergarten and class teachers for giving moms and dads such a good opportunity to learn and progress together with their babies.
My daughter contact with the first set of picture books is "fourteen mice", which I decided to buy from the online search picture book list, to be honest, just after the start of the picture books do not know too much about the book, buy back the book at first I also feel a little bit of the books text is too little and too many pictures. 16 large books, the whole page is a whole page of pictures, text on each page a line word. At first I read the following line of words on each page to my daughter to listen to, slowly I realized that my daughter observes the pictures on the pictures to see things than I read a line of words Yao a lot more, since then I will no longer read the words, began to guide my daughter to look at the pictures often ask her "What do you see?" "What are they doing? "What are they doing?" I found that this is more conducive to the development of her observation and language organization and expression skills.
The biggest gain this year is to buy a set of "Magic School Bus" series of books for my daughter, took out a "water story - Magic School Bus Series" asked me to read to her, read to the baby to listen to him sometimes laughing, sometimes ask questions. After reading once she said to me "too good, mom read to me again". This was very unexpected because usually when I read a story to her, she would say "tell me a new one". From the description of the book, I learned that it is an Amazon 5-star recommended science book for preschoolers and post-schoolers. The book has a maverick teacher, a quirky and mischievous student, and the story is in-depth, describing the process of water from its formation to the waterworks to its entry into millions of homes in a professional and clear manner. After reading the story to my daughter a few times, I realized that she could describe the process of the water cycle very clearly, which is really out of my expectation. If you love your child, teach them to love reading.
Picture books are a seed of happiness and love sown in a child's heart. Each excellent picture book is like a firefly dancing in the darkness, which brings beautiful fantasies, hope and light to children's childhood. A good picture book is enough to influence the growth of a child's life, and enough to change the future direction of a child's mind.
A beautiful story is light. May every parent, take a little time out of their day to listen to the sounds of beautiful picture books with their children.

Kindergarten Reading Picture Books - Part 12
Naoto Matsuhisa says that reading to a child is like traveling hand in hand with him or her to the land of stories and sharing a happy time filled with warm language. Picture books enhance a child's language skills, and this benefit is self-evident. Vocabulary that does not usually appear in our spoken language, such as spiral, precious, clear, touched, etc., picture books can create the right context, Nobuo is in the sensitive period of language, and he can often use it after listening to it for a few times, "Mom, I am so touched when you praise me! Mom, why is the nose of a butterfly spiral? Every vocabulary accumulated by Nuobao has become a surprise and a touching moment in parent-child time!
Picture books can also enrich a child's imagination. Children's writer Peng Yi once said that without experiencing the most marvelous fantasies in childhood, how can an adult bear the harshest reality? Nobbo fantasizes about a mosquito-eating leopard when he is bitten by a mosquito, fantasizes about strawberries escaping when he picks strawberries, fantasizes that he is Superman and can do magic, and entertains himself in fantasy. Fantasy is an important tool for babies to solve inner conflicts and understand the strange world, and picture books can lead children to a wider world of fantasy.
Parent-child reading I want to bring us more is the improvement of parent-child relationship, think about our adult world is how ` pale and boring ah, but parent-child reading can let us keep the interest of children, so we are not more from the child's point of view to think about the problem and use their favorite language and talk to them! For babies, they will feel the feeling of love when they snuggle up next to their parents, feel their parents' breath and listen to their parents' reading voice.
Parent-child reading together is a very warm and happy thing when you think about it! From her babbling to now bought a small hundreds of picture books, and sometimes also with colleagues and mutual exchange of picture books, the book card has never stopped, recently suddenly realized that no independent reading ability of the child reading card is not quite applicable, picture book museums are noisy, there is not a comfortable and cozy environment, it is difficult for children to focus on, and back and forth borrowing time cost is too large, the latter stage of the decision to give up the book card, or to buy books in the home! Comfortably enjoy the parent-child co-reading it!
Kindergarten Reading Picture Book Experience Part 13
On May 17th, all language teachers in our school participated in the "Happy Reading, Easy Writing" theme teaching observation and discussion activities organized by the school. After attending this observation and exchange meeting, I feel that I have benefited a lot and fully realized the infinite artistic charm of classroom teaching. Through listening to Ms. Wu Hui and Ms. Wang Qinyu's classes and lectures, I felt that they have a lot to learn from themselves.
In picture books, what is more important than the story is the meaning of life embedded in the pictures. This is the spiritual origin of picture book creators and publishers. Whether it is the reading of picture books or the writing about picture books, if it does not start from this origin, the value of teaching will be greatly reduced or even harmful. Runaway Bunny is a poetic expression of love between mother and son, and the theme is obvious. When designing her teaching, Ms. Wu Hui-Huei simply holds on to this theme as the starting and ending point of her teaching. In her teaching, Ms. Wu used multimedia courseware and appropriate teaching aids to present the content, thus effectively mobilizing the children's multi-channel audio-visual senses. On the basis of the reading experience of the first two groups of diagrams, she guided the students to practice saying "If you ___ I will ___" to further guide the children to think, so that the students "passive learning" to "active learning". This will not only stimulate the children's enthusiasm for reading, but also allow the children to more fully utilize their own rich imagination, and train the children's thinking ability.
A good picture book not only tells a story, but also helps children to improve their observation, enrich their imagination and sublimate their spirit. The picture book "You Are Special" is a story about life education. Ms. Wang Qinyu teaches through the medium of picture books, allowing students to develop a reasonable imagination, to have feelings, and to stimulate the children's desire to write. Ms. Wang's practice of comparing and contrasting imaginations, thinking differently, and experiencing the thoughts of others made the children know how to look at others with respect and appreciation.
Through this lesson, I have gained a better understanding of picture book reading. Picture books, with their unique subtle language and words and bright attractive pictures, create a new teaching atmosphere and give a new look to the curriculum, which is enough to bring vivid vitality to the learning of teachers and students together. It is not difficult to find that reading a humorous and intriguing picture book can lead children to fly in a magical and fantastic space to enjoy the different joys of culture.
Kindergarten Reading Picture Book Experience Part 14
Some people often write reading as "pleasure reading", which is a better interpretation of the physical and mental pleasure that reading brings on top of reading. My understanding of parent-child picture book reading is that the baby and mom and dad together read beautiful stories and look at beautiful pictures. I think what we have gained is good reading habit and good parent-child relationship. As the saying goes: "It is better to give your child ten books than one good book; it is better to give your child ten good books than to teach your child a good way of reading; it is better to give your child ten good ways of reading than to give your child a mom or dad who can read with him". Because no matter how good the book is, how skillful the method is, it can't compare to the pleasure brought by reading with mom and dad, and accompanying the child to read is also a kind of happiness. After sitting on the sofa or sleeping on the bed with your child, browsing through the picture book story together, or discussing the plot of the story together, the scene is so cozy and happy.
The child began to cultivate the habit of reading at a very young age, from the initial look at the map to read, poetry, half an hour before bedtime, to the current formal picture book reading, "The Three Little Pigs", "The Tortoise and the Hare", "Little Horse Crossing the River", "everything because of you", "the bear does not brush his teeth" ...... every time with the child to read a picture book, the child is enjoying himself , listening attentively, and this is also the quietest moment of the day for the child. Often when he reads a good picture book, he will say to me, "Mom, I want to hear it again; Mom, I want to hear it again; Mom, I want to hear it again." Listening to it again has become my child's greatest desire in the process of reading, and I am very pleased that my child is constantly growing.
Thank you very much for the picture book reading activities organized by the school, but also very fortunate to be able to go to the kindergarten for the children to tell the story, and the children to share and interact with each other, to see the children with great interest and happy to listen to, as a parent of us, why not gratified, and ultimately I will find that, it turns out that I am growing up together with the children.
Reading cultivates children's good reading habits; reading broadens children's horizons and enriches their knowledge; reading enriches children's minds and develops their good character. As parents, we play a vital role in the early reading of young children, so no matter how busy we are, we must, as always, insist on doing every day for the child to tell a story, even if it is only half an hour, but also to enter the reading time with the child. Don't underestimate this half an hour of parent-child reading every day, it can let you get great fun in the infinite imagination, it can leave happy and beautiful memories in your child's life, and it will become a valuable treasure in your child's life path.
Kindergarten reading picture books experience Part 15
On the afternoon of January 13, 20xx, I had the honor to participate in the "Picture Book Teaching Seminar" sponsored by Shuanggang Elementary School, observed a wonderful open class "Courage" by Ms. Gong Lijuan, and listened to the knowledge lecture by Director Yang titled "How to do a good Picture Book Class," Ms. Gong's wonderful explanation of the rendition of the book, which was an eye-opening experience, and made me feel the unique charm of the picture book once again. At the same time, I realized the utility of picture book teaching: picture books are visual, intuitive, easy, and a form of text that children are happy to read; because children are happy to read, they can invariably improve their literacy skills; every classic picture book is a good friend of the child.
Although the picture book is so good, but on a good picture book class is never easy, it is different from a single story teaching, it is not only the story, but also has a picture, we have to teach all aspects, of course, the teacher can be too much interference in the child's thinking, so that the child reads the full, look into the heart, only read more and more comprehension, only to have a sense of how to say that, the best way to teach is to let the children in the scenario to learn, the picture book to create a quality learning environment, so that the child is not just to listen to, but let it immersed in it to actively think, then boldly say and even write. The best teaching method is to let children learn in the situation, picture books create a high-quality learning situation, so that the child is not just to listen, but to let it immersed in it, take the initiative to think, to imagine, and then boldly say it, and even write it. Let the children feel that reading picture books is a kind of enjoyment, in the children in the enjoyment of unconsciously exercise their observation ability, imagination, aesthetic taste and so on. An expert said: "Picture books are a model for meeting children's needs, picture book teaching is included in early reading, early reading is included in language teaching, to integrate child-oriented learning in picture book teaching. When stories become a way for children to grow up, when reading becomes a way for teachers to teach, books become our unfailing . Friends. And as more beautiful, excellent picture books came to our attention, we really fell in love with them." So let's make the most of this "paradigm."
"True education is self-education," according to moral psychologists. "The self-education of children often begins with the reading of a good book." I think that allowing our children to learn to read is not only effective in developing their intellect, but also in educating their character at the same time.
Conclusion: After a series of kindergarten picture book reading experiences, I have come to realize the unique appeal of picture books as an early childhood educational tool. Each book is a window that gives children a peek into a colorful world. Through these stories, they learn empathy, understand emotions, stimulate curiosity, and develop imagination and creativity. These insights have not only enriched my teaching experience, but also given me a deeper understanding of how to guide children to read more effectively. I hope my sharing can provide some insights for my peers, so that we can work together to add to the growth of our children.
